Mobilising resources from local people and the business community is seen as an important way to realize Ninh Binh's efforts to turn itself into a developed province in the Red River Delta.

Chairman of Ninh Binh provincial people's committee Pham Quang Ngoc had the first dialogue with local firms in May, 2022.

With that spirit, the provincial People's Committee has renovated its leadership, direction, management and governance since the beginning of the 2020-2025 tenure, under which it has increased dialogues and meetings with local businesses.

Doi Moi Ltd. Co. was the very first business that had a meeting with the Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee under the monthly dialogue policy.

Doan Lan, Director of the Doi Moi Ltd. Co., said having a dialogue with authority helped us to speak out the company's concerns and difficulties in the process of production and investment. The authority's attention and clear response gave the company's leaders more confidence to make investment, he added.

A part from holding monthly meetings with businesses to collect their ideas and suggestions, then promptly removing difficulties for them, the provincial People's Committee has also increased dialogues between state management agencies and enterprises, focusing on specific fields.

Le Duc Toan, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Business Association, said dialogues need to be held regularly to improve the province's competitiveness capacity and bring the administration closer to enterprises.'

Provincial leaders pay visit to some businesses.

Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 tenure, a series of inspections and direct meetingsbetween local authorities and firms have helped address their suggestions and proposals, thus fostering economic recovery and stepping up production  and business amid adverse impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Listening to,sharing with and accompanying businesses for sustainable development is the consistent viewpoint of the provincial People's Committee during this tenure.

With over 9,000 enterprises operating in different fields, Ninh Binh has huge resources to realise its set goals and aspirations. During the process of development, Ninh Binh really needs recommendations, support and consensus from the local business community.
